Changing your Firefox default keyword search
Of late I have been bugged by some software's making changes to my default search engine especially when I type the keyword in the address bar. To restore back to your original, open the about:config page and pull up the entry name keyword.URL, it can be modified to change the search behavior of the address bar. Mine is Google so to use google search change it to, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=, and now all your searches go through google. :D

Awesome buddy. I have had some s/w messing up my browser search engine settings every time I update them. I had gone to about:config to set it right but I had missed out the one you have mentioned here. A million thanks for restoring my browser settings back to the way it was :D
